Know before you go: Post Malone, Jelly Roll set for Kauffman Stadium concert

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - International crowds that have packed the Truman Sports Complex over the past month for World Cup matches. Wednesday evening a different type of crowd will fill Kauffman Stadium.

Post Malone and Jelly Roll will hit the stage for venue’s first concert in three years. The concert is taking place while the Kansas City Royals are off for the All Star Break.

The forecast will be hot, but dry, according to the KCTV5 First Warn Meteorologists. Watch the video at the top of the page for an updated forecast.

Doors for the concert open at 5:30 p.m. The show begins with Carter Faith at 7 p.m., followed by Jelly. Post Malone is considered the headliner.

Parking is available at the Truman Sports Complex, but passes must be purchased before you arrive. No money will be accepted at the tollgates when you enter.

  • $35 -- General parking
  • $55 -- Reserved parking

Rideshare and other drop offs need to enter through Toll Gate 3 and are allowed to drop off passengers in front of the Blue KC at Gate D. Drivers can also enter through Toll Gate 5 and drop off passengers in front of Gate B before exiting the west side of the complex at Gate 7,

The stadium’s clear plastic bag policy is in place for the concert. Bags need to be clear and no larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches. A small clutch no larger than 9 x 5 inches is also allowed. Diaper bags for infants and toddlers and medical exceptions are available.

Post Malone hasn’t played in Kansas City since 2020. Jelly was last in the city in 2024.

The bus lanes used during World Cup matches have been removed to help with crowd flow and parking lots have reopened since Saturday.
