I-29 crash involving motorcycle and semi results in fatality

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A crash involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck in Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon was deadly.

Authorities said just after 4:10 p.m., a motorcycle and semi-truck collided on southbound I-29 near 64th Street.

When officers with the Kansas City Police Department arrived on scene, police said the motorcycle was on fire.

The crash was fatal, and crews were still on the scene just before 5 p.m.

According to KC Scout, I-29 southbound past NW 64th Street was closed due to the crash.
