FBI releases photos of KCK bank robbery suspect

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Weeks after a bank robber entered the Country Club Bank in Kansas City, Kansas, and pointed a weapon at employees, photos are now being released of the suspect.

The FBI shared a trio of photos of the suspect on Wednesday for the June 17 bank robbery at 11006 Parallel Parkway.

According to reports, a heavyset man, approximately 5-foot-8, entered the bank and pointed a weapon at employees, threatened them and demanded money.

The man then left the scene in a vehicle that was recovered a short time later near I-435 and Leavenworth Road.

The FBI said anyone who recognizes the man, who is seen in the photos wearing a mask that covers all but his eyes and nose, blue gloves and a grey Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt, is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
