KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The dream of a Johnson County business owner expands to a second location.
KCookies opened a shop in Overland Park on Saturday, January 17. The new location is inside the Queens Price Chopper at 151st and Metcalf.
“A very loyal customer of ours is very good friends with the grocery store owner. They had space to rent , and had tried our cookies, liked them so they reached out to us. We started discussing and looking at the space and ultimately decided to move forward with it,” Christina Jokerst said late last year in a post announcing the expansion.
The new location will sell cookies as well as 12 flavors of ice cream.
“I would just like to say THANK YOU to all of our loyal customers for your love and support over the last few years. It is not lost on me a single morning. I wake up that if it were not for your continued support, I would not be able to do what I love and I appreciate you,” Jokrst said.
The original location in Olathe also remains open to treat your sweet tooth.
