Kansas City airport lounge open to all passengers landing soon
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Get ready to escape before leaving for your next vacation.
“Escape Lounge” will open at Kansas City International Airport later this year. Construction is currently underway in Concourse A North.
The lounge is pay-per-visit and will be open to all passengers. Travelers will no longer need to have airline statue or a certain credit card to access an airport lounge.
KCI concession manager Vantage Group said the new lounge will offer travelers local food and beverage options such as Martin City Brewing Company, Crane Brewing Company, and the Roasterie.

Other options include:
- Chef-curated breakfast, lunch, and dinner that changes seasonally, highlight local flavors
- Power outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, and up-to-date flight information
- Digital library with more than 7,000 publications from 120-plus countries
Escape Lounge did not announce prices for lounge visits, but prices start around $45 per person according to bookescapelounges.com.

Access will be complimentary to people with the following credit cards and status:
- American Express Centurion®
- American Express Platinum®
- American Express Business Platinum®
- American Express Corporate Platinum®

- Priority Pass
- DragonPass
The new lounge will open sometime this winter.
