Disney sets release dates for ‘Frozen 3,’ ‘Toy Story 5,’ ‘Moana 2,’ ‘Zootopia 2′

(Gray News) – Disney announced several major upcoming animated films on Wednesday.

Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger said new installments of some of Disney’s most recognizable franchises will be coming soon.

First, “Moana 2″ will hit theaters this year on Nov. 27.

“Zootopia 2″ will be released the following year, hitting theaters Nov. 26, 2025.

Finally, “Toy Story 5″ and “Frozen 3″ are both in the works and have target release dates for some time in 2026.

While not much is yet known about the movies, Tim Allen said in an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that he and Tom Hanks planned to return to voice Buzz and Woody in “Toy Story 5.”
