AT&T U-verse nationwide outage was caused by inclement weather

(Gray News) – AT&T U-verse experienced a nationwide outage that started Monday morning and was fixed by the afternoon.

A service alert posted on AT&T’s website in the morning read, “We are aware of a nationwide U-verse TV (IPTV) outage and are working to restore services as quickly as possible.”

As of Monday afternoon, the service alert now reads, “Please reset set top box if still experiencing issues.”

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, AT&T told customers the outage was caused by “inclement weather.”
