(Meredith) – A loss prevention officer at a Texas Walmart stopped a possible kidnapping Monday evening, police said.

The employee confronted a man and woman who were trying to take a 4-year-old girl from a shopping cart, The Star-Telegram reported.

Afterward, the pair left the store and drove away in a red SUV.

No arrests have been made, as the Fort Worth Police Department continues to investigate.

The child is reported to be OK.
