Greenwood City Hall simply wasn’t big enough to hold every person who wants to make their voice heard about the possible expansion of a quarry’s mining operations. The Greenwood Board of Alderman approved the Martin Marietta Greenwood quarry property annexation last month. City leaders must decide if they’ll approve a needed permit to expand mining operations within those boundaries.
