March for Babies is a day for everyone!
At March for Babies we come together to empower, honor and advocate for moms, families and babies everywhere. Our 2020 event highlights the strength of families affected by prematurity, birth defects and the loss of a child, celebrates strides made towards accomplishing our mission, and applauds the fundraising efforts of our donors. On April 26, over 5,000 walkers will come together at Paige Field on the Overland Campus (formerly sprint Campus) to support March of Dimes.
The family-friendly day is full of fun for the whole family with live music from Edison Lights, inflatables, food trucks, games and much more! The fun starts at 9am with Superhero Sprint occurring at 10am. Superhero Sprint is a FREE kids’ “fun run” for ages 1-10 that puts the March of Dimes “mission in motion." With each registration, all kids receive a cape (while supplies last), and the opportunity to run in the Superhero Sprint with their age group. At 11am, KCTV 5 will emcee the Opening Ceremony before participants enjoy the 1.5-mile walk around the campus. The festival site will remain open until 1pm when the event ends.
At March of Dimes, we believe that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that, and you can too through your support and fundraising efforts! Together, we will make a difference in the lives of so many. We look forward to seeing you at the event and marching with you in the fight for healthier moms and stronger babies.
