St. Louis residents can take their bare Christmas tree to one of three city parks to be recycled between December 26 and January 10. Residents are asked to remove all ornaments, lights, decorations, and tree stand. Do not put the tree in a plastic bag or tarp, and do not leave wreathes or pine ropes.  The service is free. The trees will be recycled into mulch and offered to the community.  The drop off locations include:Forest Park, Lower Muny Opera parking (to the right of the Muny, off Theatre drive)O'Fallon Park, West Florissant and Holly picnic grounds #4Carondelet Park, Grand and Holly Hills (area between the gate and recycling containers - access from Holly Hills Drive)Hours include:Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pmSaturdays, 7am - 2pmSunday, closed
