Robbery suspects, who caused manhunt, face multiple charges

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -- Two men, arrested after a manhunt that blocked off a neighborhood for hours on Monday, face a list of charges.

On Monday, police tried to stop a car with two people in it, wanted for a string of overnight robberies.

Several shots were fired, officers arrest one man, the other escaped.

After a lengthy search near Ridgeview Road and 119th Street, police found the second suspect.

Mario Jimenez, 18, faces five counts of aggravated robbery and one charge of assault on a law enforcement officer.

Pedro Torres, 24, is charged with five counts of robbery and theft of a firearm.
