GENERIC: Fatal, deadly crash

CARROLL COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -- One pedestrian was killed and another was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Carroll County.

The crash happened on U.S. 24 Highway, a little east of County Road 311.

At 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, a 2007 Toyota was coming over the hill and hit a farm tractor, a pedestrian named John M. Burns, and then a 2015 Ford.

The tractor then hit a pedestrian named Brian Hale.

No one was inside the tractor or the Ford at the time of the crash.

Burns, 68, was pronounced dead at the hospital and 42-year-old Hale sustained minor injuries.
