ST LOUIS, MO (AP) – Missouri has its first vaping death. A man in his mid-40s died this week at a St. Louis hospital after succumbing to a vaping-related illness, health officials said. That’s the eighth vaping-related death recently in the U.S. (More)

LAWRENCE, KS (KCTV) – Two people stole a cardboard cutout of Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes from a Lawrence McDonald’s. But they crashed their car mere blocks away, leading to a safe return of the cutout, much to the relief of Chiefs Kingdom. (More)

BRIDGETON, NJ (CNN) – Authorities in New Jersey are offering a $20,000 reward for the safe return of a 5-year-old girl they say may have been abducted from a Bridgeton playground. The mom told police the girl was playing on the swings with her three-year-old brother while the mom was in her car 30 yards away. The three-year-old returned to the car without his sister, and the mom couldn’t find her. (More)
