KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – On Tuesday afternoon, Rex Archer announced that he is retiring as the director of the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department.

Archer made the announcement during a press conference at 3 p.m.

He will be leaving his position on August 1.
