Johnson Co. woman back in jail for stealing clothes

A Johnson County housewife who spent time in jail for stealing more than $100,000 worth of clothes has struck again and is back in handcuffs.

The police report states that Kelli Jo Bauer was caught taking about $300 worth of clothes from an Old Navy in Overland Park.

This past May, police said store security saw Bauer stealing clothes from the store.

On Friday morning, the police arrested her.

Right now, the charges she is facing are misdemeanors because she is accused of taking less than $1,500 worth of clothing.

However, it could be a violation of her parole.

It was just a year ago that she pleaded guilty to stealing $100,000 worth of high-end clothing from area stores.
