1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1 cup dates

2 TBSP almond butter (you can use peanut butter as well)

3 TBSP warm water

1 TBSP vanilla extract

1/8 tsp almond extract

½ cup oats

Pinch of salt

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Blend chickpeas, dates, almond butter, warm water, vanilla extract, and almond extract in a food process until smooth.

Add the oats and salt and continue blending until very smooth.

Empty the contents of the food processor into a bowl and fold in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate for two hours or more and serve with apple slices. Enjoy, because you've got yourself a delicious and healthy dessert/snack.
