(KFOR/CNN/Meredith) -- A woman who drove a BMW through a smoke shop near Oklahoma City is now behind bars.

Video of the destruction shows the BMW slowly bursting through the glass doors of Ziggyz Cannabis Co., then crashing into the displays at the back of the store.

Store manager Chase Uhl said he watched the whole thing happen and didn’t know what to think. He rushed to the driver of the BMW and said she was in a daze, as if she had just woken up.

In fact, that’s what she told him had happened. She said she fell asleep at the wheel.

Police identified the driver as Leslie Peake, 57. She was taken away in an ambulance and was later arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.

Peake had previous convictions, including at least one DUI in Oklahoma County.

Peake was able to get out of the car, but her face was bleeding. Although the car was moving at a very slow speed, the airbags deployed.

Thankfully, no one was in the store at the time of the crash and no one besides the driver was injured.
