CAMERON, MO (KCTV) -- The school district in Cameron, Missouri has confirmed that a teacher has been placed on administrative leave.

Derek Williams is under investigation and was placed on administrative leave, according to Cameron R-1 School District Superintendent Matt Robinson.

Williams taught one hour a day of a multimedia class. He also directed the fall high school musicals and the spring play.

No letter was sent home to parents at this time because they don’t know a lot about the investigation.

The children in his multimedia class were talked to about the situation.
