(Meredith) - Krispy Kreme announced it will be offering free doughnuts to healthcare workers nationwide every Monday until May 11.
To get a free Original Glazed dozen, healthcare workers can go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru and show their employer badge.
The company is offering this sweet deal to show its appreciation for the men and women who are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Like everyone in these times, we’re anxious. We’re concerned. We’re also all in this together. Thank you, healthcare workers and everyone supporting them, including our Krispy Kremers, who make a personal commitment every day to share joy," the company said in a statement.
Plus, Krispy Kreme is introducing a new offer for all customers starting Saturday, March 28, and running on subsequent Saturdays. The company said it will add a free Original Glazed dozen to every order that includes a full-priced dozen.
Starbucks announced that it's giving free coffee to first responders and healthcare workers dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Customers are encouraged to share them with loved ones or neighbors to brighten their day.
