Humana, a leading health and well-being company, is hosting a Vietnam Veterans Pinning and Proclamation Ceremony on Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its Humana Community Location in Kansas City. Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of location, are eligible to participate in the ceremony. Their families are encouraged to attend as well.

Humana is a Commemorative Partner for the Vietnam War Commemoration, a federal program, and is proud to support and salute Vietnam veterans.

The ceremony marks the conclusion of Veterans’ Appreciation Week at the Humana Community Location —which honors veterans with different events— including a thank you card signing party, memory lane remembrance walk, veterans community resource fair and much more.

For more information about the ceremony and the other events happening during the week, call the Humana Community Location at (816) 459-7776.
