Senior Star at Wexford Place Stages Win-Win Garage Sale
Event designed to benefit buyers, sellers and Alzheimer’s Association
Senior Star at Wexford Place is pleased to host its semi-annual Win-Win Garage Sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, October 11 and 8:30 a.m. to
1 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 at 6500 North Cosby Avenue, Kansas City. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
Anyone interested in recycling items in good condition can bring their donations to the North Cosby location on Thursday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In past years, a wide variety of household goods, books, games and kids’ clothes created a win-win situation for shoppers who found good buys and had the joy of knowing the proceeds from their purchases were benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association.
With 5.8 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s disease and nearly 14 million expected to have the disease by 2050, this event is another important way for the community to support ongoing Alzheimer’s funding and research.
Please note that Senior Star at Wexford Place is unable to accept donations of large furniture for this sale.
