There’s a reason this masterpiece is one of Benjamin Britten’s best-known works. From the violins to the triangle, tuba and harp, the Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra is a fun and classic introduction to orchestral instruments. Britten inspired generations of young audiences with this catchy set of variations on a theme by Henry Purcell. The famous work continues to be popular today in TV and film, including Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom.” Tickets start at $25 for adults and $10 for children.
