Abby Dodge joined our team as a multimedia journalist in May 2019.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and received a minor in sociology.
During her time at KCTV she has brought attention to a dysfunctional temporary jail, covered a Super Bowl parade disrupted by a driver under the influence and followed the destruction of a tornado in Linwood, which touched down on her first day at the station.
Being from Kansas City, the stories of her home town are especially close to her heart.
When Abby isn’t at the station she enjoys spending time with her family and two rescue dogs.
Abby is a sucker for anything sweet and loves to curl up with a good book when she can.
