Josh Jackson grew up along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He comes to KCTV from WLOX where he served as Anchor/MMJ. Prior to his stint at the ABC affiliate, he was a Reporter/Anchor at WHIO in Dayton, Ohio.
Before transitioning to news, the Mississippi native was a Sports Director at WAPT, garnering a regional Emmy award and multiple broadcasting accolades.
During college, Josh played defensive back for the Belhaven University football team. He was named Belhaven University’s Young Alumnus of the Year in 2018 for his broadcasting accomplishments and work in the community.
He later received his master's degree and has since served as an adjunct professor at various colleges.
