Basehor man stabbed in overnight domestic violence incident, police say

BASEHOR, Kan. (KCTV) - A Basehor man was hospitalized early Monday morning after a domestic violence incident resulted in a stabbing.

The Basehor Police Department said officers were called to the 1900 block of 153rd Terrace for a stabbing at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday.

When they arrived, officers found a man with apparent stab wounds. The man was transported to an area hospital and police said he is expected to recover from his injuries.

BPD said the suspect left the scent prior to officers arriving.
