KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A house fire in the Northland resulted in injuries for three Kansas City firefighters Monday evening.

KCFD said crews responded to the 3800 block of N. Briarcliff Road at 5:28 p.m. Monday. There, smoke and fire was reported from a single-story home just east of U.S. Highway 169.

Interior operations were initiated and KCFD says an incident commander evacuated the structure at 5:55 to start defensive operations against the fire.
