Grammy-winning songwriter who worked on tracks for Dua Lipa, Britney Spears stabbed to death at 35, police say
(Gray News) — A Grammy-winning songwriter was stabbed to death in London last week.
Talay Riley, whose real name was Mark Orabiyi, was killed Friday. He was 35.

He worked on music for major artists including Dua Lipa, Zendaya, Khalid, The Chainsmokers, H.E.R., Kehlani, Chris Brown, Nick Jonas, Britney Spears and more.
According to Billboard, Orabiyi had a songwriting credit on H.E.R.’s self-titled 2017 album, which went on to win best R&B album at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
According to U.K. police, Orabiyi was found in a garden with stab wounds Friday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a second man in his 20s was also taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds, but he is expected to survive.
Police are still investigating the death. Three people were arrested Friday on suspicion of murder. However, two were released after questioning.
The third, a 27-year-old man, was released on bond.
