Woman dies in Monday morning south Kansas City shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Law enforcement has confirmed one person died in a shooting Monday morning.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department stated the incident took place in the 11500 block of Food Lane just before 8 a.m.
First responders found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, critically injured. She was taken to a hospital but died a short while later.
Anyone with information has been asked to call detectives at (816) 234-5043, or remain anonymous by calling the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Police did not offer any information regarding a suspect in the investigation.
