60s Tuesday afternoon, with storms moving through in the evening

Most begin the day in the 40s, some areas have slipped into the 30s. Expect increasing clouds for much of the morning into the afternoon, and temperatures climb into the upper-60s. Some may reach 70.  Scattered showers and a few storms will move through late afternoon into the evening. More widespread rain expected during the 10 p.m. news.

A colder and windy few days follow, with temperatures falling through Saturday morning and a blustery west to northwesterly wind. During the afternoons, the wind could be sustained at 20 mph with gusts near 35 mph. We bottom out below freezing on Saturday morning, so be careful with any plants that you may have already gotten into the ground. Temperatures rebound Sunday and Monday, with both days seeing highs in the 70s.
