High winds during a severe thunderstorms overnight peeled the metal roof off the warehouse of a business in Olathe.

Debris was tossed 250 feet from the Johnson County Drywall Supply facility at West 159th Street and South Mahaffie Street. The company truck was pinned under broken beams.

Roger Creason, owner of the company, was worried about his customers.

"I'm just shocked. I've been here for 23 years, and it's a mess," Creason said. "It's just a loss of business for a while. Customers are liable to wander off on me, and I don't need that, but we've been here for 23 years. We'll probably make it."

The surrounding Johnson County cities of Gardner, Overland Park and Shawnee reported only minor storm damage.
