Cooper County Crash Shuts Down I-70

MoDOT Advises Traffic To Avoid Area

A crash involving several tractor-trailers has closed down the eastbound lanesof Interstate 70 in Cooper County.

Emergency crews are on the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area. The accident happened near mile marker 90, just past the Route K exit.

Eastbound vehicles on I-70 between Route 65 and Route K must exit at Route K and are being detoured back to Route 65. All eastbound vehicles prior to Route 65 are being detoured to southbound Route 65 and eastbound Route 50.
