OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Four people were hurt in a crash in Overland Park on Thursday night.Police said when they got to the scene at West 127th Street and Antioch Road about 7:30 p.m., witnesses were working to upright an SUV that had overturned and trapped a man, screaming that he couldn't breathe.Rachel Rader was stopped at the light when she saw the two cars collide, then slide her way."It just breaks your heart. It hurts when you see people hurt," Rader said. "It's awful. It's horrifying. It's frightening."Police said a Chevrolet Tahoe was driving on Antioch Road when a station wagon turned left in front of it, causing the collision that landed the Tahoe on its side and forced firefighters to extricate people from both cars."Everybody that was able-bodied helped to pull the car off the man," said Rader of the witnesses who rushed to help.Rescue crews said the man and his female passenger, both of whom appeared to be in their 60s, were rushed to the hospital in serious condition. They said the station wagon's 17-year-old male passenger suffered critical injuries. The 16-year-old girl who was driving the station wagon suffered minor injuries."I could tell the young girl was ridiculously frightened," said Rader. "She was afraid, concerned for whoever the man was in the car. It's terrible."Police said they don't know yet whether the teen driver had a green left-turn arrow when she turned or just a solid green to yield.
