    KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A rock tossed from an overpass smashed through the windshield of a moving tractor-trailer, distracting the driver and causing him to wreck.

    It happened at about 2:30 a.m. near Missouri Highway 350 and 67th Street.

    The driver suffered minor injuries.

    Gerald Hougas, a witness, stopped to help the trucker.

    "They had to have thrown it off the bridge if it made the truck crash," Hougas said. "It's scary, very scary. They could hit anybody."

    Police were trying to determine who threw the rock.
