KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are searching for the driver who hit a man along Ward Parkway and then drove off.Daniel L. Riemann, 25, was found lying in the median on Ward Parkway near Westover Road early Sunday morning.Police don't know how long Riemann lay there before someone found him, but they said they don't believe anything could have helped save his life.Kansas City police Sgt. Bill Mahoney said Riemann was killed instantly or died shortly after being hit.Anyone with information that could help people locate the driver is asked to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
