Short Term Projects
I-35: Northbound right lane will be closed at 175th Street between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for bridge repair work. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Nov. 14.
I-35: Northbound and southbound will have varying lane closures from Lone Elm Road to I-435 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for pavement patching. This a moving lane closure. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Nov. 14.
I-435: Westbound right two lanes and eastbound left two lanes will be closed from Metcalf Avenue to US-69 between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. for pavement repair. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Nov. 13.
I-435: Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13 the following lane closures will occur:
1) Eastbound I-435 between US-69 and Metcalf Avenue will have varying lane closures for pavement marking work.
2) Westbound I-435 left lane will be closed from Antioch Road to US-69 for temporary barrier work. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Nov. 13.
I-435: Between 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13 to 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, the following lane closures will occur:
1) Westbound I-435 between Metcalf Avenue and US-69 will have varying lane closures for pavement repair work.
2) Eastbound I-435 between US-69 and Metcalf Avenue will have varying lane closures for pavement repair work.
Project work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Nov. 14.
US-69: Northbound left lane will be closed from I-435 to 103rd Street for bridge work. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Nov. 13.
US-69: Southbound will be reduced to one lane from 167th Street to 175th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for pavement repair work. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Nov. 13.
Long Term Projects
I-35: Northbound and southbound I-35 traffic will be switched to the southbound side of I-35 for construction work on the I-35/Lone Elm Road interchange project in Johnson County. Northbound and southbound traffic on I-35 will be channeled through the project work zone via concrete barriers. Both northbound and southbound I-35 traffic will be reduced to two lanes each direction and each lane will be restricted to an 11-foot width. This I-35 traffic switch will be in effect through mid-December 2008.
I-435 & US-69 Interchange: Eastbound to northbound US-69 ramp and associated collector/distributor lanes in Johnson County will close for reconstruction work beginning on Wednesday, August 13. This closure will be in effect through mid-November 2008.
