(Meredith) – A group of high school students in Wisconsin pulled off their senior prank so well that even police officers were impressed.

The Cumberland Police Department posted images of what appeared to be a car that crashed into a local high school, right outside the principal’s office. It turned out to be completely fake.

“Hats off the to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 on your senior prank,” the department wrote on Facebook, adding that it’s "one of the best pranks" the school has ever seen.

Students used a black tarp, caution tape, bricks and part of a car to create the illusion.

“The best part? This prank included absolutely no damage at all to school property, which is why police singled it out,” the district wrote in a statement.

As of Wednesday morning, the police department’s post has been shared more than 2,000 times.
