ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A new sculpture is grabbing attention in south St. Louis.

A local artist created a cardboard duck sculptor that now sits in the small ‘Ritz Park’ on South Grand near Hartford.  The 5-foot tall duck has been named Carl.

Artist Justin King said he doesn’t know why he created the duck but hopes people will stop and take photos of it before wind, rain or vandals end its stay.
