(Meredith) – Police in Minnesota are searching for the suspect responsible for the brutal beating of an elderly man during a road rage incident on Friday.
According to WDAY, the incident began when the man was driving down a road in Anoka County, Minnesota when he had to brake suddenly to avoid a traffic situation.
The driver behind the elderly man became more and more aggressive, taunting him as the two continued to drive down the road.
As the elderly man drove home, unbeknownst to him, the driver in the car behind him had been following him the entire way.
When he exited his vehicle at his home, the irate driver assaulted him, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said on their Facebook page.
The suspect repeatedly punched the man in the face and, according to police, had asked the victim if he’d “had enough?”
The injuries the elderly man sustained included lacerations and facial fractures, which required multiple stitches.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
