UPDATE: 10-year-old boy found safe by Kansas City police

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

UPDATE (10:50 p.m.) - The 10-year-old boy has been found safe. 

ORIGINAL STORY

Kansas City police are looking for 10-year-old Moses I. Escalante. 

He was wearing a black hat, blue shirt and pants, and black and white Nike shoes.

The hat has a diamond on the front. 

He's 4'6" and weighs about 80 pounds.

He was last seen in the area of 5th Street and Oakley on Feb. 8.

If you see him, please call police immediately.

    The police are investigating after a man was shot dead on a local interstate. At about 3:41 a.m., officers went to the area of I-435 just south of Eastwood Trafficway on a call about a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man dead on the interstate. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
