Elderly woman in critical condition after being pulled from burning home in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Firefighters in Kansas City rescued an elderly woman as flames ripped through her home late Tuesday night.

The fire started at about 11:30 p.m. at a home in the 5500 block of Harrison Street.

Fire crews pulled the woman from the burning home and transported her to an area hospital in critical condition.

No other victims were found inside the home.

Officials do not think the fire was lit intentionally.
