Man arrested after firing shots into occupied car in Lawrence

LAWRENCE, KS (KCTV) -

Police in Lawrence, KS, have arrested a man after they say he fired shots into an occupied vehicle early Monday morning.

It happened at about 2:11 a.m. in the 1700 block of Iowa Street.

Officers arrested the man after they say he fired shots into a vehicle with three people inside.

No injuries were reported.

The man has been booked on three counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Police are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Tips Hotline (816) 474-TIPS.
