Olathe police investigating attempted robbery

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Olathe police officers are investigating an attempted robbery that happened on Thursday night.

The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Parkway Drive.

The victim told officers that the suspect approached him and demanded his car as he was pulling into his driveway. When he refused, the suspect ran away.

The suspect is described as a clean-shaven black man with a muscular build. He was about 6 feet tall and was wearing a dark, puffy jacket and dark clothing.

The Olathe Police Department is still investigating.
