CLAY COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -

The Clay County prosecutor has charged a 29-year-old man with statutory sodomy and multiple other crimes after an alleged incident with a 16-year-old.

Clayton Cumpton is charged with two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of supplying liquor to a minor or intoxicated person, first-degree tampering with service of utility or institution and felony failure to appear.

Court records show that the incident happened on Dec. 30, 2016.

Records say Cumpton had deviate sexual intercourse with the victim, a 16-year-old. They also say he gave the victim UV Vodka.

Cumpton is being held on $400,000 bond.
