KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police in Kansas City arrested an individual following a 30-minute pursuit.

Officers initiated a traffic stop at Blue Parkway and Elmwood Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle refused to stop for officers at this location.

Officers initiated a pursuit as this individual began driving dangerously. Police said the suspect was known to have a felony warrant.

The pursuit ended at 53rd Street and Jackson Avenue with the driver exiting the vehicle and surrendering. Officers took the person into custody without incident.

On Wednesday, Ronzell Wright, 26, was charged with two counts of resisting a lawful stop.

Along with Tuesday's pursuit, he's accused of alluding police last Friday.

Court documents say Wright told police he fled because he had outstanding probation warrants.

A $20,000 bond has been requested.

No injuries were reported as a result of the pursuit.
