1 year later, authorities still asking for public’s help solving homicide of Dominique Byers

RAYTOWN, MO (KCTV) -

The authorities are still asking for the public’s help solving a homicide that left a man dead a year ago.

The Raytown, Missouri Police Department and Greater KC Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline are looking for information related to the January 28, 2017 homicide of Dominique Byers.

While a number of tips have been received, more information is requested.

This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting that left Byers dead from an apparent gunshot in a parking lot near 6600 Blue Ridge Parkway. 

An anonymous contribution of $3,000 has been added to the existing Crime Stoppers reward, bringing the total up to a possible $5,000 for information leading to arrest.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Crime Stoppers Greater Kansas City TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). TIPS may also be submitted electronically at www.kccrimestoppers.com, or by downloading the new P3TIPS app on Google Play or Apple stores
