BONNER SPRINGS, KS (KCTV) -

UPDATE: A Kansas City man has been charged with robbing a bank in Bonner Springs, KS. 

Timothy Karpovich, 39, was charged with one count of bank robbery. 

Court documents state Karpovich was arrested at a Harrah's Casino in North Kansas City after police received a tip he gambled there regularly. 

Casino employees identified the suspect after being presented with surveillance photos, court documents say. 

He could face 20 years in federal prison.

Authorities are looking for a man who they say robbed a bank in Bonner Springs, KS, on Monday morning.

The robbery happened at about 10:24 a.m. at the KCB Bank, located at 13010 Commercial Drive.

Federal Bureau of Investigations officials have been called in to assist with the investigation.

Officials say the suspect gave the teller a demand not and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white man, possibly of Asian descent, in his 40s, standing 5-foot and 6-inches tall, with a slender build. Authorities say he was wearing blue jeans with a blue cap, a blue sports pullover, a blue cap and white shoes.

The FBI says the man did not show a weapon and that no one was hurt.
