1 arrested, 1 on the loose following police pursuit that stretched from Kansas City to KCK

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police in Kansas City have one man in custody, but are looking for at least one more person following a chase that ended up in Kansas City, KS.

Around 8:30 p.m., police began to chase at least two people in a car who were wanted in a strong armed robbery that happened just north of Barry Road on North Madison Avenue. 

Kansas City police followed the car across the state line and later took the man into custody near the intersection of North 34th Street and Lathrop Avenue in KCK. 

Police continue to search for another suspect near North 33rd Street and Farrow Avenue, which is an area a couple of blocks northeast of where the man was caught.   

Police say the person they are looking for is armed with a gun. The man they took into custody also had a gun. 

No injuries have been reported.
