Independence police looking for suspect who robbed at least 4 businesses

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

The Independence Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect responsible for at least four armed robberies across US Highway 24. 

All of the robberies have happened since Jan. 1, 2018.

The suspect is between 5'6" - 5'8" tall and weighs between 150 and 175 pounds, according to police. 

The first robbery happened on Jan. 1 at the Subway on 911 N. Noland Road. A Family Dollar at 11213 E. US 24 Highway was hit on Jan. 3 and the Dollar General at 421 E. US 24 Highway was later targeted twice in a five-day period.
