LENEXA, KS (KCTV) -

Lenexa police are looking for a suspect they say is wanted in a number of hit-and-runs and a possible carjacking on Wednesday.

Police say the first incident happened at about 4:15 p.m. when officers responded to the 8500 block of Quivira Road to check on a driver who was believed to be passed out, inside his vehicle.

When officers arrived, the suspect quickly drove away, crashing into several vehicles in the area of 87th Street and Quivira.

A short time later, the suspect wrecked and abandoned the vehicle in the 9100 block of Park Street. Officers searched the area and at 4:50 p.m., learned that the suspect forced a victim out of their vehicle and fled the area.

About three minutes later, the suspect was involved in a crash, in the stolen vehicle, in the 9300 block of Lackman. The suspect fled the crash on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, with either short hair or a shaved head. He's wearing a black hoodie with an orange logo.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the crimes is asked to call the TIPS Hotline (816) 474-TIPS.
